FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Joan M. Warren, of Fishkill, died Saturday, Nov. 12. She was 83.
The daughter of the late George and Catherine Casey, she was born June 18, 1933, in Poughkeepsie.
She was a graduate of the Wappingers Central High School.
On May 21, 1955 she married Robert E. Warren at St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls. He preceded her in death May 16, 1995.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as an administrative secretary for the Town of Wappinger. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary Mother of the Church in Fishkill, where she also was active in the Marian Guild.
She is survived by her children, Robert T. Warren, Kathryn Poitras and her husband, Jeffrey and Laura Weiss and her husband, John; twin sister, Sally Trabucco; and grandchildren, Megan Poitras, Ryan Poitras, and Erik Weiss.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Kevin J. Warren.
The family will receive their friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls. A memorial Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson St., Fishkill. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Route 9, Fishkill.
Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Hudson Valley Hospice, 374 Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
